Let me start with a little background about myself. I am 19 and am a student of mechanical engineering at a private university in upstate NY. Before I turned 16 I really wanted a deuce, but it just wasn't practical as a "first car". I ended up with a 2000 Toyota Tundra that has been very good to...
I recently purchased a 56" Model Oliver Hazard Perry class frigate kit, which I am currently building. It will be remote controlled. Basically, this ship carries helicopters, which are launched from it's stern platform, and is armed with a rocket launcher on the bow and some medium to small guns...
So which millitary tire is best in the snow? XL, XML, XZL? We get lotsa snow up here so I would like to be able to plow through snow almost to the bumper. I know chains would help, but I'm talking just the tires. Would be running super singles. Also, which tire size is best for speed? Is it...

Could you do it in a 6x6 or would you want it bobbed?
What are some ways to get a 6x6 deuce up to interstate speed? (65+)
I have searched...
Does anyone have suggestions for a way to "theft proof" a deuce? Doorlocks, ignition locks, etc? Anyone use their deuce as a daily driver and have problems w/ secrurity?
I am thinking about getting an M35, but can't decide whether I should get a bobbed deuce or just a 6X6 w/ singles in the rear. I like the large tire look. I may be hard to find a bobbed truck up here in NY and I don't have the skills/ tools to do this myself. What is the difference in driving...
