Oil pressure gauge on M923 not working.......replaced sending unit and gauge with known working replacements and still nothing.
i assume it is a ground or wire issue, but not sure where to start.
when turn on key, the needle doesn't "bounce" like all the other gauges.

Picked up a new-to-me cucv, and wipers don't work. Checked fuse (good), then took motor off to see if it was "free".....should the arm on the motor be capable of being rotated? If not, any way to confirm if it is bad?

1. Checked for leaks....none found
2. Replaced drier unit with a known working unit
3. Disabled CTIS
just drove it a couple weeks ago with no problem, and if I rev her up to 2,000 rpm and hold it, can get up to ~70-80 psi, but...

My M931a2 has a ctis unit that shows no lights when plugged in, however, as I plug and unplug connector, the lights activate. It's almost like it will stay connected at the half way point, but will not.
I plugged this controller in myM23a2, and same thing. My controler from my M923a2 works...
Was working on a Recent M923 acquisition, and crank case, power steering, coolant reservoir and fuel tank were all drained.
the tranny registered (barely) on dip-stick.

1. Why was this typically done? Truck was redone in 2007....but it appears it was subsequently drained...

Was practicing towing m923 with other m923....medium tow bar and 1" feet. Everything was fine.....since I was only pulling in a field, you'll notice no safety chains or air supply. Everything in neutral (tranny and transfer case).

My new m1078 had a weak driver side front brake. Took me a while to figure it out, but the last military mechanic that fixed the front brake obviously never tested his handy-work.

Picked up my M1078 from Ft Campbell this morning and drove it almost 400 miles home....a bit easier driving than m923 or deuce.
