hi, one of my trucks has gillespie on the entire thing. i was planning on painting the truck again as the gillespie is over some rust. my question is can i use the one component carc over it,m as long as its roughed up. dont want to go to bare metal. thanks

my driverside alternator gets hot to touch after a 25 minutes or so, while passanger side stays cool to touch. I think theres a burnt smell coming from the front battery as well. I thought maybe a bad bearing, but why would the battery smell burnt, im assuming that alternator charges that battery.
