To start with I was testing my convenience receptacle today and my Jiffy Diffie home receptacle tester informed me I had a HOT/NEU Reversal. SO I went in and changed the configuration . Tested again and got the same results.

I was running a generator check on my MEP -003 today,

THE unit spewed fiberglass for 45 min out of the 1.25 hours I ran the unit.
I have to run the unit with the ASK Kit due to the noise and neighbors where I live.

How long has it been since you have really done preventive maintenance on your MEP-003.?
I decided to do mine before it got cold, and the weather turned for the worse. So, three weeks ago I decided to do everything...
I have intermittent voltage on 240 single phase voltage on L1:L0, I have full voltage on L3:L0, maybe a little over voltage , 138 volts.
On L1/L0 I will get a same reading as L3:L0 for about a 0.5 second them there is no reading at all I have jab quite hard on the posts to get voltage on...
Has anyone opened up a MeP003 muffler ? Is it just a can with 2 pipes going in and one pipe coming out or does it have baffles inside the can .
I am trying to decide if I am going to make a new muffler for mine or just keep what I have.

1. How much air flow should be coming around the sheet metal over the valve covers? I have about a 1/4-1/2 air gap around this area.
