Has anyone just knocked off the axle and tongue and mounted something like this in the bed? I see alot of S280s being built.. But for less $ and less time.. Throw on a matching paint job.. and consider it done. What am i missing?

I just happen to see an M1079 come up for auction.. It would appear the warning light panel lights are inop.. and if you look closely it looks like the alternator isn't charging. Any thoughts on what might be going on? It did seem to start well..

I'm looking at a couple different m1079's around the country. Before I pull the trigger on one, I was curious if there a company that specializes in inspections something like you see on Iron Planet etc.
