    5 ton towing a 55 ton tank

When the NG mechanics showed up, they laughed at our story about moving the beast, turns out that new batteries would have got the bitch running and we could have had a LOT OF FUN before parking her on her pad!!aua My advice is check it out and it might run!!!

    5 ton towing a 55 ton tank

I don't remember the engine being disconnected, but there was a manual hydraulic pump that allowed the brakes to work rather poorly, the motor was still in the tank and was pulled a month or so later by the Reno NG crew since it only had like 10 hours on the hour meter, what a job that was, they...

    5 ton towing a 55 ton tank

The county I work for moved an M60 from its unloading spot to its parking spot in the veterans park with A 1999 Cat 950 loader, it didn't go fast but it moved it! when the tank brakes were applied to turn it the loader definitely slowed down but it kept moving! I would bet Your 5 ton will do it!!

Running gas in a multifuel engine

First thing to remember is that in the Peoples Republic of crapifornia it is illegal to use WMO or WTO as fuel!!! You can burn kerosene/peanut oil mix, or gas/diesel, but if the tailpipe sniffers find waste oil of any kind you would have to sell your house to pay the fine!!!! and there are...

Converting Cargo or Tractor to Dump?

Hey Scout, did You buy that 5 ton near You?? You would not have any trouble with an M52 vs an M818, the engine being the only real difference, I rather enjoy my whistler a lot more than I would a n/a cummapart, They are a little lighter and parts are everywhere! whatever You decide just make...

    wobbly crank pulley

One fast and easy test is to mark a straight line from the inside of the balancer to the outside with a black marker and then take it for a ride, if the line shifts and is offset the balancer is bad and is a ticking time bomb!! You DO NOT want to have it come apart because it does terrible...
