So quick update with good news. Received the SF97 the other day, and the vehicle now has a title and full on road tags in MT.

GP also waits to send in the SF97’s to the dod (USMC or whoever) in batches. So your manually filled out form might sit for a month or so before they bother to send it in along with a bunch of others.

They’re out of stock at AMG for the glass. I’m in the same boat, no windshield (I knew that). Looking for entire windshield kit (glass, seals, retainers, hardware etc).

Is yours out of CA or GA? Army vs USMC?

I called them before bidding to clarify and GP said the same thing. Their wording is misleading/confusing but you are correct in their intent of the statement. It's just a clerical error that they sometimes don't let you add the SF97 on checkout.

Great info. Seeing as you've done all the research on this, any thoughts on those RFID cut outs that are being sold from a vendor on here out of CA?

So about half of the listings on GP have a note saying to add the SF97 to your cart on checkout/payment. Other listings say that it comes with a clean SF97 (that's what my listing said). In any event when I went to checkout there was no option to add the SF97 to my cart. When I got the email...

MT is pretty straight forward apparently and is familiar with these rigs and SF97’s from what I’ve been told. Will keep you posted on my experience.

I'm dealing with this right now with GP, the girl sent me the blank form and basically said put whatever you want on there for year. I picked the closest year to the manufacture serial number 183xxx - yom 1999. I was tempted to make it a 2021 just for a laugh.

As for your point #4, once I do the dry run with full on road title and tags I plan on buying as many as I can get my hands on (without overpaying) now that I have a massive hangar and full workshop with heavy duty in ground lift etc to store them in.

Quick update. EUC just got approved and the SF97 is on the way also. For everyone else's sake here's the timing. Won bid 01/20/21. EUC approved 04/25/21. I'll keep an update of the title and tags side of things when I get around to processing that in MT.

Did you get your SF97 at the same time or you still waiting on that?

Just keeping everyone updated. Still in EUC purgatory. Slowly collecting some parts I'll need for sure as they come up. I just got a new warehouse, so I'm looking at keeping my eye on GP to see if I can snag a few decent deals and even some non running ones as parts queens.

Did you mount your AC unit on the roof or on a bracket to free up the truck bed?

Hopefully you picked up something on today’s auction 02/03? No buyers remorse from me at all but looks like some people seriously overpaid for some vehicles, and some got a bargain.

Bummer, I should've got the new old stock one for $100 from the auction the other day.

Seems like a good middle road are the Optimum yellow tops with the base plates for the reasons you mentioned above. I’d love to spring for Odyssey’s, but it’s hard to justify the cost vs warranty and availability etc

Odyssey are awesome batteries. Are you getting them cheaper anywhere than $5-600 each?
