    WRECKER AIR VALVE 936a2

I read everything I didn’t see anything about why hydraulics are slow… that valve behind the cab appears to set the brakes it goes into the floorboard to the brake pedal or to that spring brake override switch. Air leak is more than likely to do with that interlock cylinder which has been...

    WRECKER AIR VALVE 936a2

Mine doesn’t have auto idle up feature . Do you know what this valves function is in the picture ? I can not find anything about it. I’ve had two of these wreckers with the same problems .

    WRECKER AIR VALVE 936a2

    WRECKER AIR VALVE 936a2

Well that was my thoughts as well… it was weird I couldn’t explain it, but that’s what happened. I’m going to disconnect that valve in this one I have now and see if I get same results. Made me think there was a pressure switch somewhere or pressure valve inline of the hydraulics that...

    WRECKER AIR VALVE 936a2

I have owned two m936 wreckers and both leaked air out of the breather while pto is engaged. Maybe someone can Shed some light on this, I am not sure what the valve does behind the cab that is actuated by the pto lever but if it’s disabled the air stops leaking out of the breather but the...

Transfer case grind chatter while engaging pto

Sorry got another question maybe you can help… can I disable the pto air switch just behind the cab? What function does it provide, does it just actuate the brakes or does it do something inside the transfer case?

Transfer case grind chatter while engaging pto

Thank you so much!! I’ve been looking for that information for longest time. I was studying it under the truck but wasn’t sure. I just took off the switch mechanism off the low gear front wheel lock switch but this would be the best way to do it. Hopefully it fixes my two issues . Post video...

Transfer case grind chatter while engaging pto

Plugged the electric solenoid line going to the actuator and plugged the interlock actuator. should I plug the pressure inlet line going to the electric solenoid instead of the outlet line going to the actuator ?

Transfer case grind chatter while engaging pto

Good point, could very well be since the interlock cylinder has been disengaged and previous owner could have gotten rough with high/low shifter to get it to go in gear . It also has air leaking out of the breather while In pto not sure if that’s connected some how and wonder how that could be...

Transfer case grind chatter while engaging pto

I crawled under it while engaged and noticed it was coming from the transfer case .

Transfer case grind chatter while engaging pto

Once the rpm gets past 700-800 rpm the noise would stop and everything would work smoothly.

Transfer case grind chatter while engaging pto

I have a question regarding a 1990 m936A2 wrecker I have while engaging the pto. This is my second m936A2 wrecker I’ve owned and didn’t have this issue with the first one. I first had problems with the transfer case interlock solenoid couldn’t shift the transfer case. I disabled that solenoid by...
