Got engine out and seal installed and oil gasket. Ready to back in

Took water pump and Gen off and got the engine out.

Right now I am going to remove the water pump to get the room to get past the front radiator support maybe.

I started the engine yesterday after I rebuilded the carburetor it good. But the main seal started leaking bad. So the question is can I unbolt the 4 bolts hold the trans to the bellhousing and pull the engine. Thanks everyone.

I started the M715 today and the rear main seal is not leaking its pouring. I have looked high and low an not found one. Please help.

I am getting my battery box Friday. How are the cables routed.

I have a 100 amp generator setup on my M38A1 jeep. With the help here I have the wiring diagram and the wiring repaired but still not charging. Do I need to polarized the generator.

Yes I have the old style rectifier that is in the grill. A bad rectifier will not let a generator charge. Is there anyway to check the rectifier

It has the cylindrical finned top. When I plugged the main connection to the regulator I hear a clicking noise in the regulator.

NDT. I put 24 volts to the Field wire going to the regulator and the generator is still not charging.

I think I have found the problem I don't have any voltage on the F wire going into the regulator. Should this wire have voltage all the time or only with the switch on.
