I messaged him I was onto his scam and he closed his site and profile. Always do an image search of the item you are interested on google and see if that pic was used elsewhere. I got lucky, he almost got me.
I was close to ordering some expensive parts from an Instagram site that looked legit. Before i did, i image searched some of his site photos on google image search and i found identical photos from other states and were old images. He did not have an ebay site or facebook. Only instagram. The...
I am wanting to add a flip-open turret and not sure what I have already installed. There is a bolted in heavy flange with rubber cushions/bushing around it. Is this called a turret support ring? I think i need a bearing ring, turret lock, hatch, weapons tray. There are several variations in...
I have been to all the auto & hardware stores looking for this adapter fitting. It connects between the rear caliper and the brake line. Without it, the brake line moves in and out and leaks. Any help on a part # or where to source would be appreciated. Thanks
Hello everybody, have another question. My new brake caliper for the left rear of the vehicle came in recently, and I just found the time to put it on. As I was screwing in the brake line, I noticed it was leaking a lot. I looked at the other side and saw some kind of additional screw going into...
Thanks for all the assistance. I ordered the correct solid rotor and got it installed. As some mentioned, it would not go on with the wheel hanging down. I rested the vehicle on its own weight tires on the ground and it provided the clearance needed to get the halfshaft back in. Thanks for...
Thanks for the info. I just ordered the correct rotor for the M115, should have it by Feb 23rd. I'll post an update once it comes in and give it another try compressing the cv.
Roger that. I'll order the correct rotor disc. No special tools needed to compress the cv joint? Ok to have the wheel hub hanging uncompressed? THank you for the tips. Its been like this in the driveway for months and want to get it moving.
Frustrating to say least. You are correct in that the half shaft was hanging down when we bought it from govplanet, so its the correct shaft.
I just tried it again and I just don't see how this will fit. The vented rotor appears to be the same thickness as the solid. Rotor aside, would it...
Thanks for the tip Mogman, will give it a try.
Thumper - It was missing a rotor on the side the half-shaft was disconnected. The right rear rotor is solid. The one I bought for the left rear is vented. (I thought i ordered solid, but is vented.) I'm guessing they would be the same diameter...
