    CO LMTV/FMTV/MTV commercial / personal

I’ve had a Progresive Comercial (for personal use) for a year and a half now. Not cheap if you want full coverage, but this is the only one that has stuck. Hagerty and State Farm both canceled my policies after a month. I’m also in CO with a MT plate. Progressive even asked for a copy of the...

Intermittent check engine light at max speed/RPM

Are you saying it's normal operation for the AIH dash light to be on while the AIH is operating? I wasn't thinking that was the case since it was flashing regularly last summer in 80 plus degree temps. I was assuming it was a problem light, am I incorrect? Unfortunately, I cannot test that for...

Intermittent check engine light at max speed/RPM

This is interesting. Thanks for the info. I also have an issue with the Intake Air Heater I have yet to narrow down as well. Perhaps the low temp is throwing off the calculation for the Exhaust Gas Temp??? I wasn't thinking the two would be connected. The Inlet Air Heater dash light comes on...

Intermittent check engine light at max speed/RPM

Still fighting this one... I have some new info now that I have CAT ET. There are two persistent codes. 102-7 Boot Pressure not responding. This one will not let me clear it. It says it needs factory codes to remove (I believe this is what @GeneralDisorder referred to above). It is, I believe...

    A1r 1079 up for auction

My 2006 1083 has the same WTEC-III as well. I'm also missing the battery tray and 260 amp alternator as well. Interesting...

Intermittent check engine light at max speed/RPM

Intermittent check engine light at max speed/RPM

Got up to 23 psi using this method. I have the sensors on order and will start there.

Intermittent check engine light at max speed/RPM

That was parked, engine warm. Full throttle for a short duration. It is consistent with driving though. I could take another one, but results are about 12-13psi max. Usually closer to 11psi average when driving.

Intermittent check engine light at max speed/RPM

Thank you sir! A was looking for a problem rather than the addressing the sensors. Makes sense. Do you have a good source to purchase CAT ET? I need to chat with you soon about a 370hp tune as well. Just want to get this thing dialed in first.

Intermittent check engine light at max speed/RPM

I could use some help diagnosing a persistent check engine light and power reduction. 2006 M1083 A1R C7 It started with an intermittent check engine light only at max speed/RPM. It seems like the ECM may have since derated itself, and while the check engine light no longer appears, there is...

I might be a little crazy – 4,000 mile M1079 recovery Illinois to Alaska

And I thought I was crazy.... I picked up a 2006 M1083A1R in North Carolina and drove it 1,500 miles back to Colorado over three days. I can't say it was a good idea, but I was much less prepared than you plan to be and it worked out just fine. I shipped a torque multiplier to the sellers home...

    CO LMTV/FMTV/MTV commercial / personal

Did you end up finding insurance in CO? I've had both Hagerty and the State Farm cancel my policies after initially issuing them. I too had to register it in Montana. Thanks!
