    Pitman Arm Removal?

"Looking on one of the 4x4 boards they all recommended a product called PB Blaster to loosen the connection. I am a believer in that product, now! Worked well. I took the longest ratchet that was in the drawer and two long extensions to allow me to really torque it up from just beyond the...

Any particular problems with soft doors in an 1151?

My budget for this year is about out with a bunch of unanticipated expenses on my 1151 purchase. I'm hopeful to get this thing back on the road in time for an offroad beach vacation this summer. Likely will take them off driving on the beach anyway. I am strongly considering putting soft doors...

B- pillar support bracket for m1151a1

Ahh. I see now. I already have part 6...I'm missing the support. Ok, then I guess my question needs to be...what is part 4 in this photo (part #). The parts manual lists part 4 as a bolt which is obviously incorrect.

B- pillar support bracket for m1151a1

Can I use the brace in the photo with no holes instead of the proper one which i cant find? I am not building out the turret. I'll put a lexan top up there that I can open eventually. It has a sheet metal cover up there for now. The b-pillar is not supported in the middle. From the TM, I need...

Large cable cut from transmission relay during demil process...what is it?

Thank you. This seems like a really technical forum, which is great. I spent months reading threads on here deciding which way to go. A more modern version of the old gun trucks I had when in my former scout unit...with AC. The hmmwv's I had in Iraq were all 3 speed 6.2s all fiberglass. We had...
