I ended up going with the full title cert. There is a way to use just the SF97, but it seems to be a multi-step process and quite possibly more expensive. This would have included getting an indemnity bond for 3 years for an amount that is 1.5x the value of the trailer.

Hello, I just won my first M1102 and live in NC. When checking out, I am trying to figure out if I only need the SF97 or the more expensive option for the 'full title cert.' Any help on how to proceed and register it in NC would be most appreciated. Thank you.

That is good to know! I plan on bidding on one that has a box on it, but more than likely I will get out bid…Haha. Just needed to know if it would be an issue in the event I win. Either way I hope to be an owner of a M1102 sometime soon.
