As I remember the gear box spins continiously, just make sure all wheels are straight to the body and connect everything. There is a mark at the center bolt (don´t know if it´s called bolt?) It helpes u to adjust the steering system... Some more pics, might be helpfull...

Yes, that´s it a Unimog starts normally., even when it is very cold. The Pertronix will help, the problem might be the electric fuel pump!? The 404 of the Bundeswehr have a heating system for the engine, but I think the Swiss Unimog don´t have? Anyway... normally the Unimog has to start without...

Karl... I´ve no idea what happend to your fuel pump! To rebuild the fuel pump should not cause that problem. There is only one spacer...

The minimum you need to rebuild your master brake cylinder will be the "Unimog Brake Cylinder Rubber Parts Kit", I saw them at ebay USA. Normally the metal parts can be polished and will work fine after that. If not you have to renew the whole inner parts, in germany we can buy them for € 100,-...
