Flu 419 problems. Clutch starter switch and boom not holding position.

Got only two problems left on my FLU, but I cannot seem to figure them out. First is the clutch switch, when depressed it sometimes will not start. The switch is fine, continuity wise when depressed. When depressed, sometimes, I can hear a “click” on the passenger side of the engine and it...

I am a new SEE owner, yay! Name is Nick. State is AZ, Mesa But I got the rear hydraulics stuck and the truck will not fold up now, boo! Never messed with hydraulic systems outside of power steering so this is an entirely new world for me and I feel I am a bit scared. The mog had two previous...

Nope Allan Gazza did, I put the camper on and finished up a couple odds and ends. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?139978-M932A2-and-Mk-48-Cab-conversion

Living quarters conversion... real world feedback/experience needed

I thought that placing a stick and tin 1987 fleet-wood prowler 5th wheel on my M932A2 mk48 cab swapped truck was going to cause it to shake apart. I made sure that the frame of the trailer was independent of the truck, with a pivoting system similar to a 404 Unimogs. The camper follows the area...

Was Broke down in Redlands Ca. Phoenix AZ to San Francisco 800miles

It did great, I could not take the LA lifestyle anymore and the company decided to abandon the EV class8 truck program so I moved back to Arizona. The truck has been trouble free, I took it to Mogfest last year and wheeled it in 4x6 and never got stuck, I also took it to King of the hammers and...

Was Broke down in Redlands Ca. Phoenix AZ to San Francisco 800miles

Well the Rig finally made it, the new transference is nice, drove on the side streets to keep the break-in happy and temps down. I did four hrs of driving nonstop through LA and the truck ran excellent! glad this thing is finally at a good destination. Living in it fulltime now in North Hollywood.

Was Broke down in Redlands Ca. Phoenix AZ to San Francisco 800miles

So some things changed, I just changed my life instead of moving the truck! I am now a resident of Southern California.... haha! But seriously I got a great job in North Hollywood building electric class 8 trucks and my boss said I can keep the truck at work (or his ranch in Malibu)! So I am...

Was Broke down in Redlands Ca. Phoenix AZ to San Francisco 800miles

All FIXED! Took a week to fix it doing "stealth" work in the RV storage unit... haha just have to gain the courage to drive it again! Just do not know if my future is in CA or AZ just yet. Still has no headlights or running lights, there is a serious short somewhere, engine is running excellent...

    M932A2 and Mk-48 Cab conversion

Oh and I forgot that before I drove out there I helped my buddy out (an aspiring saxaphone rapper) in a music video featuring the truck, it came out pretty awesome! (there is a lot of language so watch out) https://youtu.be/19_ea7AoVbU LOL! Not my deal but some good cinematography.

    M932A2 and Mk-48 Cab conversion

I started to dissemble the old t-case and wanted to share some pics and figure out into why it failed so badly. This little collar sits on the back of the case and has a seal that spins inside the case and has a setscrew to keep the collar in place. Setscrew was not super tight, but I do not...

    M932A2 and Mk-48 Cab conversion

Exactly! they had cameras at the front of the units too. I used the Chevy to conceal my actions and put the tires behind so nobody would see me under there. The lady at the front is super strict but I ended up making friends with the groundskeeper and he let me have some cool free harness/car...

    M932A2 and Mk-48 Cab conversion

Spent a wonderful week in CA! Working out of an RV storage unit can be tricky with the management so handtools only, no grinders or impacts! Before I went I modified my Chevy at a friends shop with a truck crane to pickup the transfer-case and swing it into and out of the bed. I used a 1000lb...

I got a rebuilt T1138 from auction, got the truck to an RV storage yard so it is safe. Now I am in Anaheim attempting to replace it.

    M932A2 and Mk-48 Cab conversion

Robby Gordons place was awesome and alot of hard work! 110+ hrs a week, sleeping on a friends couch. The hours were rough but we made three awesome race cars and one almost finished! Literally buttoning up the cars at a resort in Mexico.. haha! So thankful for the opportunity! But today is...

    M932A2 and Mk-48 Cab conversion

Its been a bit since an update, but alot has changed. I resigned from my job in San Fran, it was too much for me and I ended up breaking my lease; all-in-all I came out even. I left that day and took hwy one to come down to LA. I got to see the dragon wagon, its in a storage facility in San...

    M932A2 and Mk-48 Cab conversion

Thanks to Allans heads up I scored a brand new Rockwell T1138 transfer case out in Barstow CA. Picking it up from GL was interesting, Full vehicle inspection, crazy entry check but I got it! The container is gigantic and heavy as a lead brick. I did not even open it because I had to drive back...
