    Why do people bash the CUCV?

    just took a 230 mile trip with my 86 m1009 got about 17.6 mpg. high for the day was about -2. i also run power service.

    #2 alternator light

    from what i understand the reason the lights are on when you first start is the alternators start to produce energy off residual energy so you need to get them spin fast enough so the will start producing on there own.
