M1009 Eventually!!! Shuts off.
My 1986 1009 will run on after the key is turned off. IP leaks a little diesel in valley and it has to be parked nose down or it will drain fuel back to tank and is hard to start. -

Starter solenoid problems...
1986 CUCV M1009, modified with pushbutton for glow plugs. I was trying to start it and the starter stopped engaging the ring gear. It does spin up very nicely just no rotation to motor. Thoughts? I suspect the Solenoid. Does anyone have a part number that a parts store would recognize? The... -

Hey all, I already put in a block heater on one of my CUCVs and am really impressed with the results. Now are there any cautionary notes you guys have on these... I went with the one that replaces a freeze plug. I have already upgraded to silicone hoses. It keeps the block at about 105F in...
