I recently replaced the cat on my truck after inspecting it with a scope. Decided to see how bad it was and if it would be possible to remove it, clean it and reinstall. Here is what it looked like. Best performance upgrade yet.

Try DCP 901-343-6453, but I would cover the inlet and outlets and wire brush or soda blast the case...get it clean... then take the 2 side caps off, then the bottom bolt, see if you can clean what you have up or if its needs replacement parts.
it's been a few years ago, but I lost all my lights while driving at night when I hit the Hi Beam/low beam switch on the floor. May have just been the headlights, but replacing the switch solved that problem.
I am not 100 sure, but I think if you remove the return fuel line off the top of the injection pump and put a longer piece of fuel line on it and run it into a catch can, that would simulate open check valves...if that works..then dig into the check valves.

Hopefully you have oil pressure and good compression on all cylinders. If you do I would check the fuel system. Maybe injectors. Could also be injection pump or timing (lots to check on the injection pump) . Did you drain the tank and start with fresh fuel? Did you change the fuel filter...

Confirming that the dip stick is measuring the correct depth of fluid in the pan should be ruled out. If everything else is done right, maybe somebody swapped out the dip stick from something else or ??? 99+ percent it was correct off the line. Only way to rule this out is droop the pan and...
