    That plug is directly over the piston, it is used to verify top dead center. Number 6 and number one reach tdc at the same time. If you put a rod in the hole and use a dial indicater to measure the highest point the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley should be at top dead center. Frank

    Clutch disk is probably stuck to the flywheel from sitting. Pull the clutch pan and use a putty knife to free the disk from the flywheel. Have the clutch pedal depressed when you do this. Frank
