They were shooting a movie during Operation Cobra of the Breakout from Normandy. The movie is "Red Rose of Normandy". Here are a couple of shots of the L-4 taken during filming over the three days I was there. You can see a lot more photos of Armor and vehicles on the L-4 face book page...

I will be participating in operation Cobra this coming weekend at Florala Ala. Drove up today and walked the Forward Airstrip (farm field). The L-4 will be flying in support of the US tanks and vehicles. Attached is a pic of the landing area.

Got home this evening from the Military aircraft and vehicle show up at Enterprise Al. Really good turnout with about 4,500 attending last year and about the same number of people this year.
We parked the my L-4 down in the grass area among the MVs and had a great time. Met a lot of new folks...
Took these this morning, it was very clear and the heavy clouds and storms had not formed yet.
You can see why the L-4 did so well as an artillery spotter, the view is spectacular.
