    Dump truck modification

    If I could find a complete dump for a reasonable price I wouldn't do it. Also trying to find a mack powered one would be even harder. If i looked at everything correctly the tandems have to go a foot forward and the frame has to be shortened 3 foot.

    Who has shortened the frame and slid the axles forward on a cargo chassis to make it the same wheel base as the dump truck? I have a m54 and found a dump set up off a m51 that id like to mount on it but I want it to look right.

    Mines intercooled. It actually has a cummins part number on it if you’d like. Fits behind the stock grill and hood.

    and my one piece wheels, which i am looking for 1 or 2(one rim is messed up and i don't have a spare) unless i find a set of g177 then ill go duals which id rather. The second Picture is the messed up wheel. You can see the piece welded in the center.

    I'm not saying it is a nv4500, just seems like it. The truck is titled as a 1992. When I get under it I'll let ya know what it is. I haven't had the time to mess with it much

    Trans seems like a nv4500 or along those lines. Shift pattern is different than a 3052. It's a short shifter with a tight shift pattern
