    not charging

    I have checked the gen and it will full field if voltage aplied to it. The small wire from the gen. seems to to be shorted to ground. does that go to said switch on the dash?

    we have an m35a2 (multi fuel) here at the Sheriffs dept and we went to use it and it is not charging. not to certian as to where the voltage reg is located. the gen is putting out . Can anyone help?
