My civilian Freightshaker wouldn't start one day because the starter finally gave out. I installed a quick coupler on the primary air tank so I could pressurise the tank to realease the brakes. I then gave it a little bump with my farm tractor and it started right up. NOW I have portable air...
You can try this, it works on most auction sites but not on GSA. Go to the item you are interested in, add it to your favorites (I have a folder called 'aution saves'.) Most sites disable the link to a page after the auction ends, but the page is still there. If you saved it, you have. I have...
If it was me, and I know you ain't me, I would tell the dear officer there is a law that quarantees me the right to face my accuser. At first he will try to say he is the accuser, but he isn't. He cannot act on his own. He has to act on a complaint from a citizen and it has to be a valid...
Dirt, I surely didn't make this post with the intention of selling anything from it. I was trying to find out if I can post in the classified. I see other civi stuff there but I just wanted to ask first. My intentions are honorable. I don't NEED to sell the stuff, I was just willing to do some...
Yes, as my ad states, I would like to put the vests in the classifides, but they are not "issue", so I was just asking. i have been selling this stuff to the general publec and there were no restrictions put on by the Feds. I didn't think there would be any problem with the "issue" clothing...
I have a lot of Carhart style vests by Polar King that I'd like to put in the classifieds. I can sell them to members for a good price. They are all stamped on the back "Property of U.S. Gov" and I bought them from the Feds.
I also have a lot of issue parkas, camo, liners, mitts etc. all at a...
I just had a starter put in my Freightshaker. It was $376.04 exchange plus labor.
I would have kisses the guy if it was only $100-125.
I wouldn't hesitate if the seller was reputable.

For what it's worth, I license my semi as Farm use in MN. It's all leagal and I follow the rules. Also my 1-T dump, but them 2 vehicles are civi's, so I shouldn't talk about them here. (wink)
I don't mind the drilling part too much, I just don't like that hot shrapnel making it's home real close to my skin. Especially if I'm a receptive position.
We bought a '71 Kaiser(?) 5-T tractor with a stretched frame and a 5000 Gallon water tank. Do the math. The frame was done by a pro shop. I don't know what other mods were done, but the F.D. used it. Not too good on hills they said. Duh. It's parked out back with the rest of the iron. Go figure...
I have a single axel Freightshaker with a 32' equipment trailer with a hyd. ramp and elec. winch. I have hauled several dueces and 5T's with it. The biggest thing so far was a D6 and it looks like I'll be hauling a MF 450-S tracked excavator (equivalent to a JD 690) next week. 40 acres of storage.
I might be totally missing the boat here, but couldn't you use a sigle axle or tandem axle dolly with a 5th wheel plate that has a lunette ring on the tongue and pull this with your dump truck. I've seen these in use but don't know any technicalities or legalities.
Hi everyone. I'm a new member here. Already own some green iron and plan to aquire more. Lots of mil clothing. I've spent several hours reading here and plan to spend hundreds of more hours participating. I like what this site stands for and plan to be an asset. Prior service and disabled. I...
StoneMill, FYI, that wrecker on Ebay did sell on 9/14 for $10,101.00 and the buyer couldn't go through with the deal. I was watching it and I have it saved on My Ebay.
