Electric power steering for M35A2 Deuce

After watching about 487,591 videos on YT about electric power steering, consulting with my local mechanical wizard, and checking some prices, I've decided to proceed cautiously to adapt a steering assist module to my A2's steering shaft. I don't need one finger steering when stopped, I just...

Electric power steering for M35A2 Deuce

I hit 70 years this past summer, and already having bad shoulder joints, my A2 Deuce is really testing my body this year. I've read how others have adapted various power steering systems to their A2's, but wonder if modern electric power steering, either in the form of an electric...

Got all my M35A2 LED lights working....for a little bit. Anyone worked on LED's with success?

My new LED rear lamps arrived today, and it was a quick job to swap them out. Since only one of my old lamps was bad, I now have a spare rear lamp. I was surprised to see that the new Trucklite LED rear lamps only use 3 LED's for the tail/running light. The Grote's I replaced used 12 for tail...

Got all my M35A2 LED lights working....for a little bit. Anyone worked on LED's with success?

After spending the time to refresh all my grounds and confirm all connections, I discovered that the most trouble prone LED lamp on my truck has a cracked housing, letting who knows what into the case, leaving it free to attack the board. My left rear LED lamp hasn't been giving me any trouble...

Got all my M35A2 LED lights working....for a little bit. Anyone worked on LED's with success?

DG, Unless I have some serious gremlins hanging out around me, I don't believe that any connections are reversed. Yesterday, with air temps above 45*F, all my lights were working as designed. Thanks, Jay

Got all my M35A2 LED lights working....for a little bit. Anyone worked on LED's with success?

I bought 4 LED lamps for my M35A2 Deuce about 10 years ago, mounted them about 6-7 years ago, but didn't get to enjoy them at the time, because of a bad turn signal switch, then a failed flasher unit. Some kind soul on SS posted plans for a build your own electronic flasher, which I did...

    Windshield Frame Seal

Here's my 2019 addition to this very helpful thread. Clean the groove in the windshield frame. It cant be too clean. Any lubricant which won't hurt the gasket is OK. Like Barbara Walters, I used Astroglide. Get it in the groove and only on the parts of the gasket that go in the groove. Like...

M35A3 Deuce steering. Oh fu......................dge....something is missing!

Yes Sir, this A3 has an 18 inch steering wheel. I took my A2, and M105 trailer over to the El Paso county fair for military appreciation day a few Fridays ago. Then hiked a mile home and drove the A3 to the fairgrounds. It was no big deal when I dropped them off before the fair actually...
