I found that ground point you described. Looks ok but as we all know doesn't mean a thing. I will try to replace the ring connector first and clean it up and see what that gets me.

My thoughts as well. I may have to follow the grounding wire through the system and replace it all together and see what that gets me. What a royal pain this is going to be.

Very nice paint job. Question for ya on your fuel can mount. Have you had any issues with the can banging the side window when driving over rough terrain? Did you mount it up high to avoid it being hit in a fender bender? I have a can and a mount I was thinking of mounting in roughly the same area.

Thanks guys. I compared it to the connector on the headset that goes onto radio just fine. They look exactly the same. I will check the O Ring.

The speaker is a LS454 marked on its data plate. The connector just wont connect. I wonder if something might be bent on the speaker side connector.
