    Fuel gauge problem

Take the wire off the sending unit where it attaches to the tank. If the gauge falls you know its the sender. It nothing happens its the wiring or gauge itself. This is always my first move when looking for fuel gauge problems. Hope it helps.

    Has anyone actually driven a M35 20+hours?

Good Luck on the trip. I did 27 hours straight on my trip from Utah to Southern Arizona. I was so sore when I got done. Get a piece of foam for the seat. My rear end was the most sore when I got done. I would also recommend 2 different types of hearing protection. I had ear plugs and...

    use of lucas oil stabilizer

I used to use it in my 3406A Cat. The truck would start to consume large amounts of oil after about 4000 miles. I would change the oil and it wouldn't use oil again until the 4000 mile mark. Never figured it out. Started running 20% Lucas and the problem went away. Ran it till I sold the...

    Snow fun with War Machine

That looks like so much fun! I was hoping to get some work done on my truck but its only going to get up to 68 today. Guess I will have to wait for a warm day next week. I used to live where we had snow like that all winter. Not any more. But that's OK. Its nice to go out in the middle...

    M35 Mine Protected Vehicle

I think the A3's look funny. The cat is cool and all but can it run anything you put in the tank like used oil, biofuels, etc. Give me a multi-fuel!

would u buy this preBOB deuce?

I will only speak for my self, but I don't know if cheap is the word. I usually have soooo many projects going at once that I just have to be careful. Well alright, I'm cheap. But I'm proud of it! ! ! !

Crushing a Car with a Deuce.

I was crying and cheering at the same time. Its always fun to watch some kind of destruction. I still don't think that the guy is a rocket scientist, especially after he ran into his other truck!

    Hood interference

I found the easy way to put the filter can back on is to get someone to help. Its easy with 3 or 4 hands.

    M35A2 Sound Deadening Project

I love the noise too. At least I did till I drove mine for 27 hours straight. My ears hurt from the ear muffs and ear plugs. But its an easy fix. I'm just going to have to buy another one. Put some sound proofing in one, and annoy the neighbor with the other one.

    Photo of Deuce under attack!!!

I was watching Junkyard Wars the other day and they tore apart a deuce that looked like it might have been this same truck.

    Cooling Off Idle

I agree that the type of driving that you have been doing before shut down will dictate the amount of time that you need to let it idle before you shut it down. The harder you have been running it, the longer it has to idle to sufficiently cool the turbo down. When I used to come home in my...

New M35 Vinyl Cab Covers Khaki

I spent the better part of a day sewing the front of my top back together so I could make the trip from Utah to Arizona. Sounds like this would be a good buy for me too. I'll cross my fingers and hope they actually are able to get more.

    Utah to Southern Arizona

I Finally have my baby here with me! ! ! I moved to Arizona in July of 2007 and had to leave my deuce behind in Utah. My first place here in Arizona was a small trailer in a "Trailer Field", (a trailer park would have been a step up). There was no place to park my baby so it had to stay...

    First long trip

Thanks, Wish me luck. I have never had my Deuce more than about 30 miles from the house. Now I'm going to drive it 850 miles. I should have a good story to post when I'm done. The madness starts in about 2 weeks.

    Reciever on deuce

Barrman I'm going to have to try your jack trick. I got one of the Curt hitches. Going to drag my Ford behind the Deuce when I drive it from Utah to Southern Arizona. Been without my baby for almost a year and a half. Time to make the trip. Hard to spend money on it when its 850 miles away.

    First long trip

Chicklin, Do you have the part numbers for the Carquest belts? I'm getting ready to drive my Deuce on a 850 mile trip. Might be a good idea to have a spare set. Jeff
