    Alternative fuels for diesel: impact on emissions?

    If you run to much you can get injector coking, but the biggest factor is ring land coking. If you don't keep the VO hot (about 160F) before injection you get get crappy atomization and incomplete burn. Evenutally you will lose compression and be in bad shape, but there are plenty of options...

    Re: RE: none I agree, not to many answers for the gas powered stuff, but WVO is not that hard to convert even if you live in Canada. You can easily run 100% SVO with a few mods. We converted a rice farm in CA and during the summer he saves nearly 5k a week. We converted 3 case pump motors...

    Crazy idea for filtering used oil.

    New to the board, I'm in the USAF and own a business that converts diesels to veg oil (VO). Water is the biggest enemy in VO. It can become emulsified in the oil and water seperator filters won't stop it. This is normally from the bus boy just opening the drain on fryers and washing water...
