    I will buy top door hold backs if they are not bent up. the thin steel tracks on top the doors hooked to the body hat keep the door from slamming shut.

    in my experence with the 6.2 cracked heads are mostly from over heat or no coolant. I would expect the engne to have more damage. like piston rings that pass oil ,low compression stuff like that. I have seen a few guys spend cash on heads just to find the the bottom end is weak.

I just know somewhere there is a pile of these parts. the door "holdbacks" are two thin tracks that keeps the back doors from slamming shut if they are not latched full open. the cap just that , a stamped formed front top edge of the box.     a diesel has no throttle plate to cause vacuum. The air inlet restriction will go up as the rpm and boost are rased due to air filter or piping restrictions between the air filter and the turbo.
