Can anyone tell me what size 3 phase generator is required to run the hvac and other systems for the m820 expansible van? I have an m820, and now just need a generator.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm in the same spot now and showed my truck (M820 Expansible), a picture of it anyway, to the local county clerk, and she said she had no idea what to do with it. I have a title, so just need to make sure I go about registering it correctly. Maybe if I point her...

Great deal...I'm wondering if it IS a real m1009 and someone did a vin swap to get a title. So it does have dual alternators? Is there a data plate on the inside of the door?

Man I feel much better about my m1009. I paid $250. It had been in a flood, but about $800 and A LOT of labor later I'm driving it all over the place. I also scored a rebuilt 6.2, trans, and a lot of spare parts for another 1k, so I hope to keep her on the road for a long time.
