    1976 m880?

I sorry, I thought we were checking the VIN to see if this is a M880 or not. I am the first civilian owner of the Dodge. I bought it from the U.S. Army on the Sierra Army Depot, near Herlong California in 1990. From what I was told when I picked it up. It was used mainly as a drivers training...

    1953 m35a1?

I was reading your reply and had a question not related to the thread. How much space, if any, is there between the transmission and the transfer case? Would a old fashioned brownie fit into the space? It would give the gasser overdrive and should help with the gas mileage.

    1976 m880?

This may be a special order. It has the 318 2bbl, and 203 transfer. I have never checked to see what the front and rear are. I did not even know it had posi rear ends until I tried to pull something heavy in dirt and all four wheels sunk in 6" when I could not move it. It was never wired for...

    1976 m880?

Hi guys, I have a question. In 1990 I bought a Dodge pickup from the Army. What was interesting is I thought it was a standard M880. I bought it through the old system and did not go and preview it. The problem is that it has a 4 speed transmission and not a automatic. This pickup has...

    Various M880 Questions

M880 My last unit in the Guard ran M880's into the 80's. Everyone pinged because the 318 engine in them were designed for leaded gas and we used unleaded. Yours should be the same unless someone rebuilt the motor and changed the valve seats. I have not checked for years now, but there used to...

    M-880 manual transmission

This may be one of a kind. I bought it from the Army and I have been the only private owner of it. The base I got it from is a really isolated base in Nevada. They had a Technician who worked there who was intitled to have a M-880. He was the only one on the base who was. So instead of going...

    M-880 manual transmission

I have a 1976 M-880. This has a factory 4 speed manual transmission. I have put 170,000 miles on it and need to replace or rebuild the motor. I would like a little bit more power and would love a overdrive. What's out there to do what I want. I was thinking of going with a 360 or having the...

List of Washington, Orgegon, Idaho parts yards

There is a scrap yard in Payette Idaho that has a 1952 GMC XM-211 to be cut up. In real nice shape. It had its bed but they already cut it up. It looks like you could put batteries in and gas and it would fire right up.
