Wracking my brain, here. We had the same issues years ago in the Corps. Cold snap at Lejeune would cause havoc with the hummers. Finally, we narrowed it down for some of the vehicles, and it turned out the cold advance switch (right bank cylinder head/pass. side) wasn't cycling the glow plugs...

Thanks for such a great site. I'm a former 3521 (Marine Corps) and wrenched on hummers, 5 tons (M800 and M900 series), M 151's, and LVS's. I'll look forward to spending many hours on this site. Lately I've wondered about the performance of the MTVR 7 ton. I'm sure it has to be better than what...
