Paint is from Eastwood supposed to be high heat but needs touching up in places. There are a few vendors that have m37 parts shouldn't be too hard to find what you need.

This is the pump heat shield and line with a heat reflective wrap. Works great

If memory serves me I think they only made around 5000 of the Canadian Model M-37, with the bigger engine and better transmission( my opinion). Save this one and buy a cheap daily driver

What was the improvement after install? Did you have to change the stock plug wires?

Biggest and easiest sign is to check the front motor mounts. If their forward of the stock ones you have the bigger block not necessarily the 251 thought. I certainly not an expert to tell you what different displacements this block came in.

This is a Canadian 251, compare yours. Look at the left front motor mount its moved forward for the 251
