I am hoping someone can help me correctly identify the parts I have and if they have any value to sell. Back in 2018 I purchased a set of these to support the soft top for my M1102 trailer. The lot included 2 sets of these bent tubes. One set is a few inches shorter than the ones I used on my...
I decided to dive in. I took everything apart in the actuator assembly and cleaned it all up and put it back together and test drove it. The brakes no longer stick in the locked position. It's a simple design and easy to figure out. The only thing unusual was that the bushings that mount the...
I have an M105A3 that I have needed to lockout the brake actuator with a pin because it sticks and locks up the brakes. I did not see an exploded parts breakdown in the TM. I also have not found a match yet. It does look similar to one I found on etrailer but there are several differences. Has...
Sorry if this has been posted before I was not able to find info on this. I have some nice fiberglass m105 sides taking up space. My m101a3 has no side rails/racks at all. Does anyone know if I can dismantle the M105 sides and make them fit on my M101? Do the metal stakes fit? I can cut down the...
I tried a large ratchet strap and it broke the mechanism. I think it was rated for 10,000 lbs please post info on the type of ratchet strap you used. and how you position it not to damage the run flat or tire. No instructions it was used and I am not sure if I can read the part number. It is...
I purchased a military run flat tool several years ago from a swap meet. I tried using it for the first time today. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or if the tool is broken. I have tried winding it in both directions and it does not build tension. I can push on it and it the strap...
I wanted to share this information with hopes it will help others out. Thank you Guyfang for decoding the part number and manufacture for the military..
I was able to order brand new parking brake cables for my M101A3 Trailer which is the same as the M116A3 trailer. I called the manufacture...
thanks for the info. I actually may have gotten the one I am working on freed up. I don't know why I purchase these trailers then do what I do. I just purchased an M116A3 generator trailer with less than 200 miles on it. The trailer is newer than the M116A3/101A3 combo I am working on. I...
I know that new levers are available. I just heated 3 of the ones I have up at the aluminum adjuster area where ones hand would contact. I was able to get all three of them to rotate. What I have not been able to do is get any of them to adjust. I feel like there are other components that are...
What is the current market value of an M105A1 in decent condition? I have sold several of these years ago and I think the most I was able to get for one complete with top and bows with a spare tire and wheel was 600.00 I see them advertised now for much more and wondering if people actually...
I picked up this M1102 trailer a few weeks ago. I noticed that it seems to have roughly twice as many footman loops on it than any other M1101/M1102 trailer I have seen in pictures. I am calling what the fabric top latches into footman loops. Any idea what may have been attached to this trailer...
thanks I will try that company. I just got this trailer they had that size adjuster in the drum in its shortest position . Both of my levers are seized up and do not rotate. I have not been successful in the past freeing them up.
THANK YOU GUYFANG! AS ALWAYS YOU HAVE BEEN A HUGE ASSET TO STEEL SOLDIERS!
I am a Jeep mechanic and I figured they meant something similar to sales codes that the dealer can tell us which option that is.
I am going to practice this and thank you for confirming 100% that 74" is the correct...
Does anyone know the length of the parking brake cable for the left side on an M101A3 trailer? The one on mine went behind the pulley and chewed it all up. It's about to snap. In the TM I see three different lengths to choose from. I am hoping to not need to take the cable out to measure it. Any...
