    weasel in the deep

    I personally would recommend using many straps, spaced along the length of the length of the machine from side to side. These should be run from some form of spreader bars so that you do not apply pressure to the side of the body. I would clear as much mud from around the machine as possible...

    M4A3 Sherman Restoration

    Very nice, very nice indeed. Do you have pix of the motor? I love the front transmission, such a lovely little bit of iron. Reminds me of the stuff out of our tractors.

    WC51/52 to WC62/63 question

    WC37 6x6 mod Well, since this is going to be a resto-mod, why not go a bit wild. Have you seen the flex frame setups? The whole point is to put a pivot in the middle of the frame. This is a way of hooking up two different frame widths.

    M31 .30 Cal mount questions

    Gun mounts on the jeep. We on the lead jeep tend to mount two 1919s, one on the dash and one on above. See the two attached pix. In one you can see the dash mount without a gun. The other is of the jeep equipped for the field.
