    Ripcord - The pump puts out up to 3000 psi. What that equals in weight I don't really know. Somewhere out there is a formula to calculate lifting force. I didn't look into it since I only want to haul smaller loads, maybe only around 2500 lbs or so, it should be plenty. Quickfarms - Not sure how...

    M105 dump So it's been a couple months but I wanted to show the progress on the dump conversion. I'd say its almost complete. i've tested it with three loads so far and it's holding up well. I want to make sure it's tough enough before I give it the final grind and paint.

    For now I'll keep the tailgate the same. I'll see how it dumps when it's all done and if it gets in the way then I'll fab it into a barn door style. hopefully I won't have to though.

    105 Dump in progress I just wanted to post some progress made on my 105 dump conversion. This is my first fabrication project so try not to pay attention to the bad welding job!!! I got the hinge design from a set of dump trailer blueprints and modified it to work on the back of the 105 frame...

    Mark2X2: The truck has the 5.3 in it basically stock. I'm still waiting on paperwork back on the trailer to get it registered but as soon as I do I'll be making my first dump run so I'll hit the scales there.

    M105 Mods Thanks for all the positive comments. The trailer sticks out just enough to see it in both side view mirrors, so maybe a couple inches on each side. It tracks nicely behind the truck and handles great. Since I removed the huge stock axle, wheels, and massive jack it lightened it...

    Modified M105 I modified a M105 a little bit to make it easier to tow behind my 1500 silverado. 5200 lb drop axle, smaller wheel & tire combo, removed non essential gear and now it tows great. Next step is making it into a dump trailer.
