Its a light for NVG's, that makes sense. Thanks for the input guys, I'll post a few more pics tonight, and maybe I can figure what a few other things are. I suppose I could pack the printer with paper and start printing tech manuals.
The roof is pretty rusty and has a 29" hole in it (I have a cover), but it does have 1100 Michelins, electric windshield wipers, an airshift front deelybob, seats with shock absorbers, new troop seats.......
Thanks, the only things its needed so far are door hinge repairs, I used 5/16-18 stainless bolts and they work great. I'm getting good at this pic posting stuff, I guess its a learning curve, like getting onto I-295 in rush hour in your newly acquired Deuce only to find out that you are in low...
That figures, what ever happened to the promise of dragging and dropping pics? I'll probably have to re-size the file and jump through a few other hoops. Like I said, I'll let the wife figure it out and repost tomorrow.
I finally picked up my Deuce from Jacksonville GL. Someone let me know if the pic is properly posted, otherwise I'll let my wife figure it out in the morning.
Just to throw in my two cents..... when I was in the worlds greatest Navy, we used phase angle meters to parallel generators. If you try to close the generator breaker .5% or more out of phase, it will automatically open back up so you dont destroy your generators.
Thanks for all the great replies and support! Last Thursday I was really sick (with a campylobacter infection), I got out of bed just long enough to place a bid on a truck that was nice but had just enough surface rust to hold the price down. My wife told me about 18:00 that I was the owner of...
I just got lot 6514 for $2370, which is great compared to the last auction in Jacksonville. So how long does it take to get an invoice? I will be paying with a cashiers check. I know this questions been asked a zillion times, I mostly just wanted to exclaim to the world that I finally got an MV...
To get the prices I go to event calender and click on the event number in this case 10143. But you have to look at each truck individually because the prices shown on the main page are vastly different than when you look at each item individually. Alot different.
I'm going to tell Tim to stop putting videos of the trucks running and driving!! I want to see "running condition unknown" like they do in Huntsville.:D
I dont know why the prices are so high here either, its always been that way. Its going to be twice as bad next time they auction some trucks..... I'm going to try and get a truck locally from a SS member or established dealer.
