OEM/1/2 in. drive 76 x 80 mm. front wheel socket (25966) | Socket | AutoZone.com this is what you need for the m1008. 19.99 worked great for me. If i recall right it's 2 and a half inches.
Have had this same problem with lots of older vehicles and currently my m1009 as well. Every other mechanical pump operated vehicle I have had this was the cause. You got two options install a good mechanical fuel pump or go electric, good ones are 30 bucks and up for a good mechanical one. I...
Correct me if i'm wrong but mechanical fuel pumps have a check valve to let fuel in but not out. Sometimes they go bad and let fuel drain back down in tart he tank. Also cheap overseas pumps are poorly built and seem to all ways do this to me. I found best solution is a electric fuel pump or in...
16.5 in. x 8.25 in., 6 x 5.50 in. Bolt Circle, 4.00 in. Backspace- I would go with these myself less back spacing the better I would think. If 6.75 will work I think 8.25 would be ample.
I've seen demilitarized humvee's but there not cheap, pretty much just a h1. Really not worth it in my eyes. They would rather let the rot away then give them to the public.
Previous owner installed a regular pick up tailgate. My plan is to cut a piece of plexiglass to install for winter time, Figure ill set it on a piece of wood or something on the tailgate. Anyone else ever done this?
Thank You guys for the input looks like after Christmas I will be grabbing some 37" humvee tires for the rims. I have to trim the fenders a bit but should go well.
Wonder if shop would even attempt to put humvee tires on these rims? I know they would be ballooned a bit but I don't care. Guy had a set of wagon rims about 8 inches wide but only had three.
Rather than start a new thread I figured I would use this one. I got some 16.5 inch rims today that are about 6 inches wide. Will this work with 12.50 inch wide humvee tires?
