What did you do to your deuce this week?

pulled the trailer bed off my bobbed deuce and modified a 14' flatbed off an old dodge d500 truck to fit. cut 4' off the end and turned vertical to make the cab protector. I'm still trying to figure out how to finish it out. haven't decided between expanded steel, or maybe lower half with wood...

    Which torque multiplier ?

I bought this one, and am happy with it. So far I have only used it to remove/reinstall the front tires and it worked fantastic. It is heavy and feels well built and even comes with sockets and a case for a good price...

    2.5 Locking hubs group buy

well, that explains a lot. that card must have fallen out of the hole in the side of my shipping box. I was very confused since the instructions said nothing about grease either way. That's why I contacted C&C. Had I seen that warning note, I wouldn't have even thought twice about it.

    2.5 Locking hubs group buy

oh man that sucks. I hope C&C will help get it sorted out for ya. My box was pretty beat up, but everything was inside. I think C&C needs to use much heavier duty packaging. all the styrofoam peanuts in mine had turned to dust that stuck to everything.

    2.5 Locking hubs group buy

Step 1: remove old hub. 3/4" socket Step 2: clean mating surface Step 3: Put in 4x2 setting, remove top cap from hub Step 4: Bolt on hub using old bolts/lock washers. Kit includes a gasket, so I did not feel the need for RTV sealant, but that's up to you. Torque bolts to 85-95 ft lbs...

    2.5 Locking hubs group buy

I just got done replacing all the seals and gaskets/fluids /grease on the front axle. The hubs include basic directions, but really it's just as simple as un-bolt the old ones and bolt the new ones on.

MV show at the XXX Burger Drive-in, Issaquah, WA April 12 SUNDAY

i was especially interested in the fabrication that went into putting a hummer body on top of a deuce chassis and drivetrain. Had to take a closer look at the underbelly of this beast. Very impressive way to make a hummer street legal.

MV show at the XXX Burger Drive-in, Issaquah, WA April 12 SUNDAY

I was just hoping I could find a set of zipper boots today to throw on there and hold the oil/grease in long enough to make it to the show tomorrow. At this point I've decided against it and have started researching for the best overhaul kit.

MV show at the XXX Burger Drive-in, Issaquah, WA April 12 SUNDAY

As luck would have it, my front axle seal blew and spewed fluid all over the Inside passenger tire. Gonna have to order up a front axle seal kit and hope I can make it next time. Still hope to come by, but won't be bringing the deuce. if anybody knows of a local source for zippered boots, I...
