I decided not to go with that original pattern ...I'm going to have the current "Nato" pattern put on it since I work on an active base and , I'd rather have the 880 "blend in" with everything else for now. That will also make it look a little "younger". Someday I might put the MERDC Camo back...

I'm glad you like it ..you know, I owned that 880 for years and every time I'd drive over a bump --it sounded like being in a Hardware Store during an Earthquake. Today , I drove it and no matter what I drove over , I didn't hear one rattle ..It's tight . That shouldn't be too hard to get use...

I FINALLY -after 1 YEAR ...got it back YESTERDAY !!!! all back together ..the Windshield ended up smashed by accident so , I had a new one and a new rear window installed. ..It has a few "Bugs" I put "Evens" anti freeze in it (4 gallons and it still needs more) but , it is running hot...

Cab --

5 Months have passed since my last Post ..a lot more delays but FINALLY we’re getting somewhere now. The new Cab had a few spots re-welded ..I hit it with the Por15 and as soon as it was "tacky" , I gave it a first coat of OD ...now it's on the Frame, Dash is in , new Wiring Harness/Heater...

Yup ..November ...that DREAM ended quick. To make it worse, there was no room to store the new 318 or Tranny or Seat etc indoors so ..all the new parts sat outside for the whole winter. I don't know if I'll run into any NEW problems now because of that but ...I already had to buy a whole new...

Ok , I think I know what you mean ...I've seen some guys use a very thick paint/coating that has a "speckled" effect on the bed. I'm sure they offer different versions. Between the Por15 and putting that on top ..maybe that would be too thick. I don't want the frame to look like I undercoated...
