Hi there, I am looking to put a roof rack on my 84 M1009. I was wondering if anyone had done this, and generally speaking to learn from others' experiences. I like the idea of the Yakima Q Towers system as opposed to drilling holes in the M1009. Basically they are semi-hardcore clip on towers... -

Hi there, I'm looking to do this on my 86 M1009 as well. I was looking for space on the frame for the tank, but it looks like I'm going to have to mount an air tank on the inside of the cab on top of the driver side wheel well. Definitely open to suggestions on tank placement if anyone has...
