    FLU419 repair 4*4 locker switch

Welp....the switch doesn't work nearly as well with air. significant force required to get over to diff locks, have to investigate the switch again. It does work though, no idea why the 4wd doesn't work, seized air cylinder maybe. TM's are worthless, no troubleshooting whatsoever, just how to...

    FLU419 repair 4*4 locker switch

Well, I got it off the truck. Ironically the switch was indeed turning the valves. It moved very easily, the detents on the nylon piece where the roll pin weren't in great shape on mine, which is why it felt no resistance. A little dremel work made it better, but that nylon piece seems like a...

    FLU419 repair 4*4 locker switch

Thanks for the info! Mine came witha bad switch as well, the lever turns but it is obvious the mechanism isn't. I fear it might be un-repairable. Will have to open it up. The price of a new one is rather.....unfortunate!

    FLU-419 Tire Opinions - 14.5R20?

Good to know! Maybe I will just have to go with the XMCL's and stick to slow speeds.

    FLU-419 Tire Opinions - 14.5R20?

Sounds like we are about in the same boat! Thank you very much for the input! With the 365/80's, have you had the mrubbing while turning offroad, or even under normal circumstances? Are you swapping to the XMCL's because of the rubbing? Do you plan to mount the XMCL's on factory disc brake...

    FLU-419 Tire Opinions - 14.5R20?

I have seen 11R20's' on them before, they are the same height as the 14.5's just narrower obviously. I am hoping to end up with less ground pressure than the 12.5's, soft ground around here.

    FLU-419 Tire Opinions - 14.5R20?

Hey Guys, Recently acquired a SEE, the first thing to address is the popped 12.5R20's so I can actually move it around. The load rating on 12.5R20's seems barely acceptable for a machine this weight, really want to go with a heavier duty tire. I have two options in my price range. Option...

    M939 PTO information

Bringing back an old thread, I have read the front winch cannot be used while in anything but neutral. According to this the PTO is live in all gears. Anyone have the right info? Curious if you can assist the front winch while in forward gear. Edit: After thinking about it, I guess the winch...

Hello, Bringing this thread back in the hopes that anyone knows of one still available either whole for parts, or someone parting one. I am hunting some axle hard parts for a LARC V. Thanks!

From what I see the days of deals are over. Some stuff has okay opening prices, some stuff is about twice what its worth. But deals? No longer!

    M925 dump conversion

Have you found the factory bed to be strong enough? I am about to start a very similar project with a 939 truck and was wondering if the factory bed frame rails would need to be boxed or sleeved. I don't imagine I would ever see more than 15T in the bed. Thanks!

GP - No Loadout Info Until Payment Cleared?!

Unfortunately I bought the truck to use for my farm, I have a knuckle boom from a HEMTT and a 5-Ton bed I want to put on it (why I wanted a LWB), so the frame was disappointing to find. The top on the truck is crushed badly (junk), couldn't tell in the photos, and the PTO is missing which I need...

GP - No Loadout Info Until Payment Cleared?!

Truck was delivered today, but a rather nasty surprise awaited. PTO was missing on this winch truck, someone obviously once torch cut the frame to remove the PTO and has subsequently cracked the main frame. I don't think this frame can be plated here on the inside, there is already no clearance...
