Hell yeah! Can't wait to see it when you get it home! If I was more confident in the condition of my wrecker we might have been able to tow bar it back, also I would need a tow bar lol.

Have you tried seeing if a wrecker company like Dawson's or Kennedy's will tow it with the drive shaft pulled? Might be a cheaper option than a lowbed but even that seems high. Try Galivan or call around to heavy equipment places, most of them have their own low boy trailers

That f350 came with 325/570 hp/tq from the factory vs the 160/290 from the M1123 so not really a fair comparison. But still sounds like something is up, truck should be able to spin the tires. When you say it loses power does the engine RPM drop or does it just feel like the truck comes out of...

Absolutely agree, the new hoist cable is sitting in the shop waiting to get installed, the front winch cable has a bad section so on the fence about shortening it vs replacing and the rear winch still needs to be pulled out, inspected and lubed before use.

I bet it does compared to the M54 ! Thanks for the advice on the cable, im actually going to replace the hoist cable as I see it as cheap insurance on cable of unknown age/past operating conditions
