Late 70's IH 3964b...made by a French company named Yumbo that IH bought out when it was still in business. It has a couple extra buckets with it also. I would like to fit them on the same trailer next to the excavator.
In the market for something to haul my recently purchased 30,000 lbs tracked excavator (IH 3964b) behind my M931A2. If I can get something with more capacity than 30,000lbs, that would work also. Is there any military semi trailers models out there I can haul this with? Any recommendations on...
Trying to obtain all the information I need to request an SF97 so I can register my M931A2 in WI. I am new to this type of truck. I noticed on one dash data plate that this tractor weighs 20,100 lbs empty so I have that part. The SF97 request form also asks for GVWR and it is not stated on this...
Just bought my first M931A2 and looking forward to going thru it and use it around the farm and for parades. I looked over it and could not find any of the numbers on the dash or frame that state the VIN so I can complete the SF97 application for a title. I noticed one label on the dash that...
The belt driven hydro pump would be the best option but I have not found any so far that produce at minimum 14gpm at 1800psi at the rated engine rpm of the 8.3 Cummins....or better yet a good setup of one installed on a M925A2. I agree, the belt driven pump would make my live bottom trailer a...
Just picked up my first M925A2 with the Cummins 8.3 today. It is a 2012 rebuild with less than 400 miles so it does not seem to have much of any wear on the main components. I have some mods I would like to do to it like adding a 2 1/2 receiver (possibly the Curt one I currently have on my...
Almost all Ag trailers use the ISO 5675 so in my application the 1" will work on this 40' trailer. The male end is almost always located on the trailer side.
Thanks for All the Input Everyone! Just got back to looking into this after a few days on the road. I was able to get ahold of TM 9-2320-273-20 after a very long download time and within it found that the 45K Lbs. rear winch is supplied by a "DUAL PUMP. 22 gpm/gear; total of 44 gpm @ 2200 engine...
How did the wet kit install go for you? Did you use the existing PTO and Hyd. Pump or swap it out with another make/model? I am planning to do a wet kit myself on a M932A2 but I am concerned about getting enough gpm and psi to the rear hydrauilic outlets without spending a fortune. I have read...
Thanks Artisan! That 916 you have seems like a pretty stout rig! I was hoping too that a 916 would have adequate hyd. features I need. It seems I am getting into a lot more truck now and the price tag keeps going up with the features I need. Since I need that 40/3500 hyd. system for my Meyers...
I would very much appreciate the specs on the M916/M920 winch aux ports. If I can just go the M915/M916/M920 route instead and not waste time/money to find and then modify a wet kit on a M932A2, it sure would help a lot to have the needed CGVW also. I have some basis mechanical skills but not...
Hello All...I am new to this website and I heard this is the best place to gain some insight on which 6x6 5th wheel military truck tractor is the best to purchase for general dairy farm use and also to pull a loaded 36' or 40' Meyer 9136RT or 9140RT forage semi trailer...
