One of the steps in the -20 for changing the fuel filter is to remove the fuel tank cap to release the pressure. So I would say it is OK.

Might want to CK your rubber brake lines. They have been known to pop.

Most of the AF trucks I was around (Blue Flightline) had the door markings and tags with US AIR FORCE 85K####. I didnt know if the M1009 had tags or if they were painted on the front and back. Where did they come up with thre K in 85K####? Thanks

I picked up a set of m1009 lockers on Ebay 2 weeks ago for $30+S&H.

As of right now as long as it is safe and has heat I am happy. I has a good paint rust cover job on it. I know there will be a lot of things I will need help with and would like to thank who ever came up with this Forum!!!!
