Could someone tell me if the GEN 1 and GEN 2 sockets need an additional counterclockwise quarter turn (see pictures)? It appears that they need to be rotated about 45 degrees counterclockwise to be fully installed.

I replaced the wiper motor with a new unit, and now washer and intermittent don't work.
I put a meter on the wire harness and there is no power to both 2 prong harnesses, only the 3 prong one is hot.

My '85 M1009 was running pretty well. Hard start sometimes, so I just replaced the very old glow plugs as maintenance.
After changing the glow plugs it got cold and won't start.

Last night I had to drive through the snow. I locked the hubs, and going about 10mph let off accelerator, and pulled shifter straight back to 4hi. Everything seemed fine until I started fish tailing like I only had rear wheel drive.

My m1009 leaks a little bit of transmission fluid from the front drive-shaft seal on the transfer case.
Can you add "Bar's Stop Leak" to the transfer case to swell the seals? Will it gum-up the gears or just not work since it's not pumped?

Does anyone know why the m1009 fuel filter will not prime. Followed tm 9-3220-289-20 3-17 fuel filter maint bleeding.
removed old filter. Filled input port of new filter with some diesel and installed.
Cap off. Tube on port and routed to bottle (lower and higher than vent plug port)...
