Yes. You are not bypassing the pump just manually turning on the fuel as opposed to the solenoid doing it.

Screw it in clockwise. For this particular issue I found it was plugged injector screens. I had to pull all the injectors, remove and clean the screens and reinstall them. After the first one it ran on one cylinder.

did you visibly check that the shutoff is open?

The fuel only comes out a couple of inches or less but there should be fuel.

I found a supplier from another thread. They do not have the originals which were manufactured by Evans but have a different manufacturer they said will work with no mods for between $40 and $65 depending on the probe length. Does anyone know the probe length? I have not had time to check it...
