I've got a 96 M-1098. Will the Super S AW 32 hydraulic oil work in the transmission or should I get 10 weight?

Usually have pressure testers at a truck shop. We have a MAC set for several different radiators. Usually the oil comes out last when drained from bottom. Could see about how much total is in the system. What was the mileage and hours on your motor?

Were did the sample come from, bottom drain??Do you have access to a coolant system pressure tester?

I have a 93 m35a3. If you need to compare I can get a photo to you. I always get my free info from the CAT house, just like to pick there brains and just try to narrow down possibilities

I've had bad oil coolers and a bad tranny cooler which pushed the tranny fluid completely out and fried the tranny. Try obvious first. Do you have a friend at your local CAT house? They are priceless !!! Happy Hunting!!

I believe if you are using federal funded highways federal law supersedes state law. Probably a good idea to check with your local DMV for requirements.

U can doit/ not legally Look at the GVWR of your truck. Most insurance is invalid if the GVWR is exceeded. If what your pulling(trailer + load) exceeds 10000 lbs you need a CDL. I've done it but that doesn't make it safe or legal, and I wouldnt do it if I had an option!!!! PS. TRY to find an...
