I understand. But I also know that there is a large contingent of guys with multi-fuel vehicles less than a 2 hr drive from my house. You probably do not really want the drums because I think they leak.

Howdy Central Texas Steel Soldiers!
I have two, almost full, 55 gal drums of some mixture of fuel. I am fairly sure that one of the drums about 90% diesel. The other is about 90% water. With lots of used motor oil mixed in. I don't know if any of you can use this, but it is free to the first...
I might be available for one of the parks near Austin (I am kind of bored with Hidden Falls but could go there again). The Bend may be to far for me to go.

Time to check in again. Since it has been a while since I last posted here, I thought a refresh was in order. I am still going strong.
Having fun the Pinzgauer way!

How to stop a Pinz
Wow! That is a bummer. Did it stop before it hydro-locked?

You can't see it but I also have new front seats. I got some nice Freightliner seats mounted in place of the...
Wow, cool pictures. The Houston area reminds me of Florida in a lot of ways and that kind of mud is one of them. I am glad I live more in land and only go to visit my Houston friends.
Still, mud that is so thick is stops all forward motion is not as much fun as mud you splash thru, coming...
Water puddles? No.
Hills? Don't make me laugh!
Quicksand? Ooops!
Apparently, quicksand does in fact stop a Pinzgauer. And this was the kind of quicksand you find in old Tarzan movies. Good thing I'm one of the good guys.

Duffman,
I just looked at your location and realized you are in CA. Talk to Jim at goatwerks Goatwerks home page. He is a Pinz guru. And talk to Scott at EI (another parts guy) Expedition Imports Corporation Home. If there is a Pinz for sale in CA these guys will know about it.
Timothy
Duffman,
Welcome to the Pinz madness. They do seem harder and harder to come by now a days. Two places to look for Pinzgauers. First keep an eye on Swiss Army Vehicles in OK Swiss Army Vehicles - The Prime Pinzgauer and Unimog Source. He always seems to have access to Pinzgauers for sale...
