That's true Ray but in Washington we have "collector's Plates" and I was trying to ascertain whether or not that bypasses the CDL requirement for a 26k+ w/ air, kind of like with RV's

So did going the collector vehicle route bypass the CDL? or is it not required for a private vehicle? Did you happen to look into licensing it regularly?

I've been drooling over 5-tons and wanted to know from some local people what hoops they had to jump through to license and insure their 5-tons (i.e. CDL, registration, insurance)? oh one other question what's with the GL site saying there is a 1000000% buyers premium?
