    My m925a1 build "Brutus"

I went with those military guys filter and assembly and it works real well. Based on my boost im at probably 900 to 950 cfm. You also have a much shorter distance from filter to turbo. Would their kit work in your housing?

    My m925a1 build "Brutus"

Thats cool! Had no clue. Sgt Tibbs would love it. Sgt Tibbs passed in May. He suffered significant bladder crystals. But hes not suffering anymore.

    My m925a1 build "Brutus"

Installed a new idle plunger today. Pump was built with a #27. I installed a #22. I saw 9lbs of boost. Egts at 900F to 950F. Fuel pressure is back to a max of 170 like it was prior to doing the injectors. Truck feels strong at 1900 to 2000rpms. At 55 to 60mph pulling a hill I could...

    What's your sulfur substitute?

For lubricity for your pump, I use either optilube or Hot shots. both companys have products for just lubrication that's vastly superior to 2 stroke oil. Optilube had studies that show how much better it does over alot of other competitors in an independent lab study. Hotshots is a newer...

    My m925a1 build "Brutus"

I had the injectors put in yesterday. Went to the local heavy duty truck shop and owner helped me with inner base valve and injector setting. I did outer base when doing just the valves before. Was good to learn the other way of adjustment. The truck fuel pressure dropped from 170psi max to...

    M1061a1 restoration

Today I added a Tropicool RV coating to the shelter. Outside temp was 88 degrees, surface temp over 145F!!!! 1 gallon applied, prior to even curing, the temps have dropped over 40F! Thats a huge difference. It also seals the top from water. Will be much more comfortable inside and the...

Anyone regret goin to 16.00r20 Tires on M923a2?

I'm glad I got away from 53" tires. Had them and switched to MVT 46". Less weight, better control, more power and torque, less wear and tear on components. Easier getting in truck. More affordable to purchase. Should have done this from the beginning, would have saved alot of money. I have...

    My m925a1 build "Brutus"

Installed the gear reduction starter with my Dad. That was challenging. 68lb starter in an awkward position isnt fun. One bolt is a 5/8" 12 point. The others are 15/16". You will need some extensions for the one inside the starter next to the block. The star shaped bolt head needs a box...

    My m925a1 build "Brutus"

Installed a new thermostat gasket and seal since the housing was leaking. I also replaced the coolant temp gauge. Driving home it failed. Gauge face broke off trying to take out old gauge. New one working like a charm. Matches other gauges. I know the white gauges aren't period correct but...

    My m925a1 build "Brutus"

Took Brutus on vacation to Gettysburg. Did 400+ miles towing the m1061a1. Truck did fantastic. Maintained speed well, only dropped back to 47 or 48 mph on some grades. Highest fuel pressure was 150 to 160. Highest egts was 850F. Highest boost was 7.5lbs. All on stock #27 fuel button...

    M1061a1 restoration

Took the m1061a1 on vacation to Gettysburg. Trailer did great. No issues. Shelter and cables stayed tight. Plan is to get new rubber shoes for the trailer as these are quite old.

    My m925a1 build "Brutus"

I got it to 150 psi with foot all the way in it. Larger 10% injectors should drop the pressure at little but and a larger button Will still keep it in a safe spot.

    My m925a1 build "Brutus"

Took the m1061a1 trailer out. First tow since the turbo build. Truck pulled well. 800 egts on hills max. No temp and fuel pressure issues. Boost saw max of 7lbs on #27 fuel button. Still planning on the 10% over injectors and might do a 25 or 22 fuel button. It holds speed on hills but...

    M1061a1 restoration

No duals on the front of the 5 ton. 395s all around. We had a ramp to load the tractor off the back of a little hill. Used some steel and old m35a2c drop sides that were bad. Thank you!

    M1061a1 restoration

Got the shelter painted with 2 coats of lusterless marine corps forest green. New reflectors. Trailer and shelter are refreshed. Going to take it for a test drive with the truck to make sure theres no issues before vacation.

    My m925a1 build "Brutus"

Picked up a #25 and #22 fuel button. Going to swap in the #25 and might do the #22 depending how fuel pressure is. I wouldn't mind a little more power. I also want it so anyone can get in it and drive it without worrying about temps, fuel pressure, etc. I picked up a new engine filter and...

    M1061a1 restoration

Started sanding the shelter for paint. Cut 2-2x4s and used the pre-existing holes along each side of the shelter. 5-1/2" holes. Used stainless steel hardware. Primed and painted the 2x4s. Now shelter is supported so it can't shift left or right.

    M1061a1 restoration

I got the eyelifts bolted down and got some 5ft long 3/8" steel cables to some 1/2"- 6 inch long turn buckles. All 4 tightened down. I'm going to add some pressure treated 2x4s and have them bolted down on either side to keep any side to side shifting from happening. Next is to start the...
